Synchronicity + Serendipity + Epiphany
Funny, when I read those three words out-loud, I think of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed + Delivered!" They actually could be interchangeable if you think about it. There are signs all around us that we are following the right or wrong path. Then you have those special moments of happy encounters that confirm your doubts whether you are on the right path. Epiphany occurs when you have that sudden revelation, or insight that you KNOW that you are exactly where you are supposed to be.
Today is our last day at Bayou Blend. We will be closing the storefront + our online store. This has been an amazing miraculous journey, so it shouldn't surprise me that this week has been filled with those special moments as well. Starting with our closing date. When I decided January 6th as our final day, it did not occur to me that it would be the day of Epiphany. The word actually means "manifestation," as it commemorates the divine manifestation of Jesus to the Magi (Wise Men/Three Kings). It is the final celebrated day of the Christmas holiday season.
Tonight, is also the first full moon of the year, exactly 6:07pm, the same time as our celebration this evening. The January 6th Cancer full moon represents a nurturing time. According to astrostyle.com, "The sign of the crab (Cancer symbol) reminds us that the wisdom of our hearts is far more potent than any games of the ego." In other words, according to the site, "Don't underestimate the power of making changes in your home, family, workplace." I mean talk about CHILLS!
Just in this week, we have had some fantastic full circle moments.
I have loved every second in this journey, the peaks + valleys. I have learned so much, but the greatest lesson I have learned is the power of surrendering. When you allow yourself to surrender to the divine...manifestation occurs.
So, I would like to take this opportunity to personally tell everyone "Thank you" one last time. Signed, Sealed + Delivered - I am now exiting on a champagne cork. It is time to party- a la Kaysie style!
